Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Nortevo (the "Service") operated by Nortevo ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

Nortevo is a SaaS platform that monitors how brands appear across AI assistants (e.g. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude). Features may evolve over time.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You're responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Subscriptions & billing

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual) via Stripe.
• You can cancel anytime from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Rights Directive. By starting to use the Service before the end of this period, you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose this right once the Service has been fully performed.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
• Use the Service to violate any law, infringe IP, or harm others.
• Submit prompts or content that is illegal, defamatory, or designed to manipulate third-party AI systems abusively.
• Resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of brand names, prompts, and other content you submit ("Customer Content"). You grant us a limited license to process Customer Content solely to provide the Service (including sending prompts to third-party AI providers on your behalf).

6. AI outputs

Tracking results are generated by third-party AI models and may be inaccurate, outdated, or biased. Outputs are provided "as is" for informational purposes and should not be the sole basis for business decisions.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including all software, design, and trademarks, is owned by Nortevo and protected by intellectual property laws. No rights are granted except as expressly set out in these Terms.

8. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that endangers it or other users. You can delete your account at any time; see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

9. Warranties & liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including statutory consumer rights in the EU/EEA and UK).

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union member state where Nortevo is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. EU consumers may also rely on mandatory consumer protections in their country of residence.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
